Despite its reputation as a car town, Atlanta is actually a popular destination for pro-cyclists, being home to one of a handful of bicycle racetracks in the country.

This week, East Point’s Dick Lane Velodrome hosts the final event of its racing season, the Halloween Psycho Cross.

Earlier this year, producer Kate Sweeney went to the races at the velodrome, to find out what makes the place so exciting.

WABE’s Lois Reitzes recently spoke with the playwright to find out—for starters—what the title means.
